The consequences of this battle will lead to the foundation of Rivendell by Elrond.

While the visual effects are still breathtaking, they suffer from being too pristine and overly polished, pulling us out of the gritty, grounded world Middle-earth should be. We also touched on how the performances, while solid, didn’t elevate the material as much as we hoped.
